And you might not realize this from news coverage, but high and low temperature records are being set somewhere all the time, every single day, and always have been.
So then, you greenwashed enviro-religious sheep, it's time for some actual COLD HARD factoids about this summer's records to make your little hippie brains explode:
- Total Records set: 2079
- Rainfall: 402
- Snowfall: 74
- High Temperatures: 138
- Low Temperatures: 386
- Lowest Max Temperatures: 768
- Highest Min Temperatures: 311
- Total number of high temperature type records: 138 + 311 = 449
- Total number of low temperature type records: 386 + 768 = 1154

So please, ecofreaks, just STFU with your rampant "Look at all the high temperature records being broken OMG OMG the sky is falling if we don't destroy all SUV's and give Al Gore all our money!" bullshit. It's called weather. Climate. And it's always changing, always has, and there is nothing abnormal about it whatsoever. In fact, it's more stable now than it was at the turn of the 20th century, and the 15-year trend of global cooling is still happening.
Yes kiddies, cold records are far more common than hot records. Do yourself a favour and chill out, just like the planet is. You just better hope we don't enter another ice age because colder is bad for all life, warmer is always better and life flourishes. Good day.
