POWER TO THE PEOPLE!
I'd like to extend a giant FUCK YOU to the Egyptian "authorities" who are trying to suppress all the citizens of that country. The moment any Government attempts to take away your rights and tell you that you can't protest is the moment they are no longer the "authorities" in most sane people's opinions. So, to all my Egyptian friends, TAKE THE DICTATORS DOWN! If the Canadian Government and the RCMP ever tried to suppress us like that, I'd go absolutely postal as would many Canadians. GO EGYPTIANS GO! YOU'RE AN INSPIRATION TO US ALL.
Nobama's State of the Union
I watched the US State of the Union tonight and listened to Obama talk about the Arizona shooting tragedy. But really, we're talking about 6 people. How many have been killed by continuing the bullshit in Afghanistan and Iraq?? Using the death of a 9 year old to increase your approval rating, and as a forum to try and disarm the public should be a capital offense.But of course, as a good friend just reminded me on Facebook, "we're meant to hate this guy to not point fingers at the real assholes in power controlling things. Bring on the next scapegoat..."

Blogger beats Wordpress...again
Wordpress came in second place, followed by Typepad, Posterous, and Tumblr in last place.
Google sure knows a thing or six about reliable hosting, and that is one of the many reasons I choose to host this site (and my other sites) on Blogger.

Cooling to global warming

BC is the spiritual home of the green movement in Canada (it’s where David Suzuki lives), so they believed the government line about the new green tax being revenue neutral and allowed the government to tax the snot out of the economy to prevent minuscule amounts in emissions of a trace gas essential to life on Earth.
Fast forward two years and BC Premier Gordon Campbell has gone, quit in the aftermath of another tax grab – the much despised HST. Liberal candidates are lining up to be considered for the open Premier position, but this time candidates are talking about dialing back green policies, even reversing the carbon tax. BC’s political class have decided that leading the green charge is something of a losing proposition:
Puppies shot with nail gun, left to die
This is the most disgusting act of animal cruelty I've ever seen. I'm feeling sick to my stomach just thinking about it. Some twisted non-human asshole shot some labrador puppies with a nail gun and left them, with their mother, to die on the side of a snowy road in Quebec.
You can read the whole story here. I hope the "person" who did this ends up getting shot in his head with a real gun and thrown in an icy lake. If I ever find out who it is and they have the misfortune of crossing my path, I will do it myself. Jail time would be well worth it. What a disgusting excuse for a human being, not even worth the oxygen he's consuming.
